In The Summertime When The Weather Is High

Wash out!

Monday got wet going to and from work.

Tuesday it managed to stay dry

Wednesday got soaked again!

Thursday has started ok, chances of getting to work without getting wet are quite high, chances of getting home without getting wet.......slim!

Theres no definition of the seasons anymore, this might as well be spring or sutum and the only difference between now and winter is about 10 degress!

So anyway, going for some mortgage advice on Saturday and then hopefuly to look at a house we've seen.

Hyper Miling

I've been doing my own hyper miling, to be honest its a little difficult in an MR2 so all I'm doing is driving slower ;-)

Last previous best mileage that I got from a tank of fuel was 313 miles, so far I've done just over 140 miles and have well over half a tank left so lets see how long I can eek it out for.

If I Could Be Bothered.....

I'd write something meaningful here but at the moment I can't be arsed!

The not being bothered is so bad that I have 1 case left to unpack and I have been back for over a week now.

Lets see how long it is before I unpack it completely.

I may at some point this week post up about my cruise but again, I can't be arsed!

Also got a few pix from the cricket last week but really.....I just can't be arsed.

So that pretty much sums it all up at the mo, I just cannot be arsed with anything.


Went to physio last friday, he thinks I could possibly have damaged nerves in my left leg, that would explain the general kind of pain I got on holiday after walking around various Baltic towns in search of beer.

This is adding to my can't be arsed feeling as my bloody leg hurts pretty much whilst doing anything.

If I sit still too long it hurts, if I walk about it hurts, running is out of the question, swimming.....well that has that 'can't be arsed' factor, I cycle to work & back so I don't want to cycle anywhere else when I get home.

At some point I will try and do something about the fact that I ate and drank too much on holiday and now none of my clothes fit anymore.

Fakin' It

Getting fake tan is an experience and a half LOL

Felt a bit like a car going to a body shop for a re-spray ;-)

Atleast my white bits aren't quite so white anymore, lets see how long it lasts.

Pretty much all packed and ready, going to Southampton this evening with all my gear, John is having to pick me up cos theres no way this lot is all fitting in the MR2!

Won't be many more posts after this one as we leave on Sunday, I'll try and update my travel blog but no idea what the internet is going to be like on the ship.
I hope I can check my emails just so I can delete all the spam that seems to accumulate in my inbox on a daily basis.

Brought a couple of new cases this evening at Argos basically cos I needed them.

If you've ever seen Jaws when the bloke says "You're gonna need a bigger boat" well this is Cruise....."You're gonna need a bigger case" ;-)

And I'm still worried that my paltry wardrobes worth of clothes won't fit!
I have a special suit carrier for the dresses (yes dresses!!) and my trouser suit plus theres probably some room in there for my shirts cos I'll be fucked if I'm ironing them twice! I hate ironing, I go out of my way to avoid it at all costs.

Give me hoovering any day, it makes noise!

Anyways off to get a fake tan tomorrow! will make the dresses (YES dresses!!!!) look a hell of alot better! wasn't my idea but Francie reckoned our white bits will look a lot less scary so she booked it ;-)
