I Just Can't Do It Captain, I Don't Have The Power!

3.5 hours til 2007

So this is my last blog of 2006 I expect.

2006..........

I turned 30!

SHIT!!!!!!!!

Nothing changed much, it means I just got more pissed! (tonight being no exception)

The sad reality is, it doesn't feel like it was that long ago LOL

After that I met some fellow nutters in London in April (you know who you are ) ;-)

In June I saw Elton John, Alice Cooper and Deep Purple at various concerts.

From then on its a bit of a blur!

So....2007....

It will kick off when we go to see Kylie on Wednesday and then I will see where the flow takes me!
Hopefuly I will be playing hockey and the team will get promoted so that I can bloody retire to the 2nd team!
I also hope a few of the bands on my 'must see' list go on tour, sod the money I want to go see them kind of thing!

If you want to see what I did in 2006 then look back in my archives ;-) cos I can't remember a bloody thing!

See you in 2007.......probably.

Happy New Year and all that.

So anyway, its 7.15am on Christmas day and I feel a bit rough cos we only got in from the pub at about 1.30am this morning!

Gonna fix myself a cup of coffee and a glass of pink grapefruit juice, that should sort me out.

Off down to Soutampton later, John is coming to pick me up.

Tomorrow its off to football, Southampton v Crystal Palace should be a bit of a laugh seeing as John has never been to a football match before LOL

Might go and see that 'Night At A Museum' looks quite funny, I highly recomend anyone to go and see 'Happy Feet' that was pure class!

So yea.......Christmas 2006

So here we are Christmas eve.

All presents have been got and wrapped apart from one of my mums which arrived yesterday while I was out and I can't collect it til wednesday!

The only day of the entire year that the postman turns up early!! and we were out shopping, so thanks RoyalMail for making my mum wait for her Lord Of The Rings DVD Trivial Pursuit!

I'm currently on some red wine that isn't the greatest in the world but if I keep on drinking it might get better sort of thing.

Time to go make dinner as we're off out to the pub later.

What? When? Where?

How I am not feeling really really bad this morning is beyond me!!!!!

I am feeling ropey to say the least but if I've got away with just feeling a bit shite then I'm lucky!

The evening started just after 4ish, we left work and went to O'Neils, I'm pretty sure I had 2 pints of Budvar (the Czech stuff not the pissy American crap!)

We then moved on to the Ha Ha! bar where I had a pint of Perroni and then fataly moved on to Vodka & RedBull.
Things get a little hazy after this point but I believe after that we went onto The Oxford Retreat where I carried on with the V & RB.

Somehow, and I think at this point I need to thank Frank & Fud for getting me home to their house.........I vaguely remember a bus journey, and then my mum picked me up from their house after we'd had some food I think and watched some tv.

It's all a bit sketchy after leaving The Oxford Retreat so I will have to ask people how much of an arse I made of myself!

Anyway, I'm up at 7am and I don't have to work! this is mainly due to the fact that I'm feeling crap LOL

Gotta get a few last minute Christmas prezzies and then I'm off to see Happy Feet later on today :-)

Also added this evening is Kylie cos I saw her interview that was on before Robbie William, she is class! plus I think John would love to see her aslong as he can see her pants ;-)

Julbrygd

Bizarre American Holidays Home Page

Mine is:

National Bunsen Burner Burner Day and National Clams On A Half Shell Day

My bro's is:

World Sauntering Day LOL

My mums is:

National Hoagie Day WTF!?!?!

5 Working Days!

5 working days! <-- (sung to the tune of '12 Days Of Christmas')

Don't got back til 8th Jan cos I've took a few days holiday for reasons I can't say just yet incase a: it doesn't happen and b: someone is reading this and it spoils their present! ;-)

Just pre-ordered my copy of 'Exile' from Amazon cos they got me the last book 3 days earlier than I could've got it in the shops :-)
Was gonna go overboard and pre-order 'Sacrifice' but then thought whats the point LOL

Christmas cards mostly sent, gotta do the ones for people at work tomorrow and give them out tomorrow lunctime cos its our office Christmas dinner.

Then its France on Friday for a booze cruise and SKY TV installed on Saturday.

Typical that the first game of footie I shall watch on sky sports will be bloody Man Utd! might not even watch it.......don't want to make myself ill for Christmas ;-)

On another note....

Christmas cards are done, well the ones that I need to send out are.
Now all I need to do is send them ;-) Watch your letter boxes in the next few days!

Je Ne Sais Pa Pour Quoi

Had to post again tonight.

And its not cos the Indoor/Outdoor lights have blown up! *looks out window to check*

I had to take cuteness pictures of Trix ;-)

And I've still done fuck all about my Christmas cards!

Every Little Helps!

Inside Temp: 22.3ºC
Outside Temp: 3.4ºC

Weather station sensor seems to have surrvived its fall from the windowsil.

So anyway, yes I have ordered Sky TV :-)

4 Mixes: Music,Variety,Knowledge and News & Events with Sky Sports.
No need for the movies as I wouldn't watch them.

Did a big impulse buy yesterday at Tesco......well when I say BIG I mean £5.97's worth of Tesco Value Indoor/Outdoor Christmas lights. ;-)
My plan being to put them on the fir tree bush in the front garden.

<-- The bush!

<-- Shit nightime shot ;-)

Looks ok! REALLY!! it does ;-)

I've asked my mum to keep an eye out at Tesco for any product recalls on Tesco Value Indoor/Outdoor lights as I don't hold out much hope of these working for more than 1 day ;-)
If I don't blog in the next few days its cos we've been blown up by my Indoor/Outdoor lights that aren't really that Outdoor!

To be honest atleast its made me feel Christmasy, cos I haven't been feeling that at all.
Although I had a moment when I opened a Christmas card from Alison and a load of sparkly bells fell out all over the floor.

Watch out Ally some of them will make their way back to you ;-) That is of course when I finally sort out my cards at work, I was so tempted to say fuck it today and go and buy some!
Will probably spend hours again tonight arsing about trying to sort the bloody things out to get them to print on the colour copier at work!

So WHEN you all get ure cards I hope you appreciate the trouble I went to!! ;-)

HUMBUG!! ;-)

Cute Picture Of The Day:

It's probably not that safe to have ure cat asleep on top of ure monitor, but its probably safer than Tesco Value Indoor/Outdoor lights ;-)

Sky TV

I just ordered Sky TV!

With sports but without the movies.

8 Working Days!

So I have finaly got my mum and brother some Christmas presents!

Anyway, it seems we might be getting Sky TV now as Will reckons he would actualy watch it! so YAY!! :-) Sky Sports here I come!

Saw James Bond yesterday, it was ok but dragged a bit in places :-(

Was dog sitting over night so went out for a walk up at Shotover Hill with the dog as it was nice and frosty this morning.

Weather has turned pretty shit since this morning, tis bloody freezing cold and wet now so I'm off to make some Mulled Wine!

Saturday, December 09, 2006

Chilly Cold!

The weather station sensor has been found!

It had landed in the hedge between us and next door.

Although I now think its on the blink cos it says its 9.8ºC outside and thats just bollox!

It was reading 3.4ºC this morning, might just need a few minutes to adjust from being outside then inside and now back outside tied down with more string.

Thursday, December 07, 2006

Theres Only One Keano!

Robbie Keane is gonna be out for 6 weeks! :-(

Moving on.....

It seems I may have lost my weather station sensor this evening, it was tied down outside my window when a gust of wind going at about 100mph hit the house.
The sensor has disappeared into the blue yonder! although it must be still transmitting cos the temprature reading for outside keeps changing ;-)
Maybe I'll find it in the morning when its light and not (hopefuly) pissing with rain!

I've designed my Christmas cards!! Now all I've gotta do is send them to works email and get them done out on the colour copier so watch your letter boxes shortly! ;-)
I hate having to work in Microsoft Word though, publisher is much easier to move things about on but we can't work with publisher files unless........oh I've just thought of this.......I PDF them!
Bollox! I've just spent the last 2 hours pissing about with word! ahwell if these ones don't work I know what to do next.

So its Friday tomorrow! Going to see James Bond on Saturday :-)

10 working days til the Christmas break!

Weather Forecast

Inside Temp: 21.4ºC <--- mainly cos I turned on my little heater. (it was 16.4 when I got up!)
Outside Temp: 6.4ºC <---- Wear gloves on bike today weather.
Humidity: 53% Comfort <---- ????

And whats the weather actualy doing? Raining by the looks of it.

My search for Christmas presents will continue online later, would go out at lunch time but I'm doing a Mulled wine survery with my mate at work.

ie: we go around Oxford looking for places that sell mulled wine and then sample it!

So far we have:

Jude The Obscure (Pub in Walton Street)
5/10 cos its the processed stuff and you didn't get alot of it for your £2.95 a glass!

Tesco's/Sainsburys Mulled Wine (£2.99 Per bottle)
7/10, stick a bit of fruit in and its pretty good.

Juice shop in The Covered Market (Opposite the fish monger)
9/10, £2.50 a cup! They did this last year and its back again but only at weekends so no lunch time tipple for me :-(

So who knows where our survey might take us today.

Incidently, if you do ever visit Oxford I highly recommend the Covered Market, its full of little gifty shops and all sorts, although if you're a bit sqeamish and don't like dead animals and stuff don't go near it at Christmas time as there's a couple of butchers in there that have all the traditional meats and all sorts hanging up outside their shops.
Sometimes the fish monger will have something big on their counter, they had a shark once, it looked well scary!
There's a bloody good pasty shop in there too and all sorts of little cafes to grab a snack in.

*shameless home city plug mode off*

;-)

And now......I'm about to be late for work cos I've sat here writting this!

Permanant Vacation

All the little 'create a post' things are back!

So anyway....

Haven't done any bloody Christmas shopping! but I did buy my PC some new memory so now its an Aston Martin not an Austen Metro ;-P

My bro brought me a weather station :-) so now I can tell if its 'gloves on the bike' weather without freezing my tits off to find out ;-)

Outside Temp: 6.2ºC
Inside Temp: 20ºC
Indoor Humidity: 52% Dry <---- what ever the fuck that means LOL
It also displays the time and is an alarm too.

What an exciting life I lead! ;-)

2gb card arrived for Ixy, got a new hands free kit for the phone cos the original one fell out of my car door and I found it the next day in pieces lying in the middle of the road, still waiting on my play.com dvd's! Put a coule of things on eBay for the sake of it.

Temepst is all done an dusted and still I can't stop raving about the book, it was bloody marvelous!

**Random Tempest Excert Warning On**

"A Star Destroyer fired on you?" Ben asked. His lightsaber was hanging from a utility loop on his evac suit, but Zekk was being careful to remain at his side anyway.
"What'd you do to deserve that?"
"Saved you," Han said sourly. "We can always throw you back, if you think it was a bad idea."
"We'll take care of Ben later." Jaina took Han's arm and started forward. "Right now we need to get you and Mom into evac suits"
"Evac suits? No way." Han started aft. "By then, the Falcon won't have any cabin pressure left."
"Dad, you took a turbo laser strike right down your access core." Jaina waddled up beside him in her suit.
"We night not be able to patch things up."
"Sure we will," Han replied. "This is a YT-ThirteenHundred. The access core isn't that important."

**Random Tempest Excert Warning Off**

Bugger it seems to have dropped to 19.9ºC in my room!!!

I wonder how cold it has to be before this weather station gives up? ;-)

Time to go make some Chirstmas card me thinks!

Blogger Buggered?

I think it be buggered!

No idea how this post will turn out cos I can't do anything with it :-(

All the little icons have gone so I can't change the text or add pix atm, I assume its blogger and not me!

*edit* If i use html tags i wonder if it will make any difference

*edit 2* looks like it does! so it seems blogger 'create a post' thing is stuck in html mode!
