It's so bad lately that the only news I have to share is the arrival of my latest eBay impulse buy.

A brand new pair of RED! Puma's and they only cost £25 incl shipping from Greece.

Now all I gotta do is find something to wear them with.


















There is light at the end of the tunnel, the nights seem to be drawing out slowly cos we didn't quite need the bikes lights on to come home from work this evening.

I got paid at work finally, so now it doesn't feel like I'm drowning although I've just paid 6months car tax today so it won't be long before I'm back to skintus maximus.

At least February is short!

This Ain't A Scene

So, I haven't found much to write lately.

And.........

I still don't have anything meaningful to write about!

I was just about to write something then and to be honest who wants to hear about how skint I am again? so ....... I deleted it all.

Seen it alot on the Kerrang channel which is where I'm spending most of my time at the mo.
It's weird that I watch and like most of the music on there yet I liked Roxette for over 16 years, its complete opposite ends of the scale. (Although I've always been a rock chick at heart!)

Currently getting my daily Star Wars fix by reading the Legacy comics (Yes! comics!) and re-reading some of the New Jedi Order books.
This current Legacy Of The Force series is the first series of books that I've actualy had to wait for releases, it's the anticipation of the next book that keeps me going ;-)

Ooh I just found a new channel to watch 'Scuzz' ;-) sort of along the same lines as Kerrang.

This is how excititng my life is lately!

Star Wars & rock music, I've even resorted to reading fanfic LOL, some of its pretty good actualy.

So anyway......... snow's all gone, went within a day, not that I noticed cos I was stuck at work on Wednesday til 7pm, had a rush job on and it was all colour, the colour copier is painfuly slow!
Did get a couple of pix taken before I left for work though.

So thats it! back to watching Kerrang and Scuzz :-) currently watching 'Break Stuff' video by Limp Bizkit, completely pointless track but I find it quite relevant as I've just had the worst case of PMT ever! ;-)
Only us girlies will understand the need to actualy stab someone! ;-) that's how I felt most of Wednesday and part of yesterday!

It's 43 days to the new Star Wars Legacy book and we have a nice little excerpt to savour.

Returning to the Temple from a late errand, Jaina passed the lone Jedi performing guard duty at the building's wide-open main entrance and walked into the main corridor.

Just leaving was a man wrapped up in a dark cloak. He kept to the left side of the corridor, away from her, not even appearing to notice her.
She hesitated as they came abreast of each other, his upright posture, military bearing, and the unconscious arrogance of his stride causing bells to sound in her memory.

Not alot of intrest has happened elsewhere.

I played in goal yesterday cos we only had 11 players, was great fun! :-) was a good job really cos I think my right knee is knackered although my physio says that its nothing serious *phew* so I shall just carry on playing until it gives up completely.

I think its old age setting in ;-(

So one of my Christmas presents was a 'Paint Your Own Plate' kit from my mum, she got me and my bro one as a laugh.

I think she was expecting us to paint some masterpeice ;-)

It did say on the instructions that 'maybe you could paint your name on it'!

This means I have to go on holiday to LA!

Legacy Of The Force

The cover to Legacy book #5, Sacrafice is out!

It's a hard back book so has a back and a front.


Front. Back.














The front has got Mara on it, with a few X-wings here and there and the back has got some ghostly vision of Luke so now the speculation will start as to what the hell that means and we don't even get book 4 for another 53 days let alone waiting for book 5!!

So anyway, that was the highlight of a very unintresting week or so.

Better The Devil You Know

Kylie ROCKS!!!!!

I would have to say that that was the best concert I've ever been to! (Although Roxette @ Sheppards Bush Empire in '95 still holds a special place in my heart)

We started off the day by having lunch at Ikea ;-) then went on to our hotel which was ok but the room was baking even with the window open all night!

After about 30mins in the hotel room boredom had set in and there was no wireless internet access in the room! :-( so we went for a walk.

Wembley Stadium is coming along nicely (Finally!)














The arena entrance has changed ends so that it now faces the stadium entrance with some fancy fountains outside (see later pix for further enlightenment), it may also have been painted but they've done nothing about the fact that its still boiling hot inside.

I was planning on having a couple of drinks in a pub near by if we could find one but we went one step better, we found ASDA ;-)

8x Bottles Of Carlsberg Export = £5
1x 2kg bag of ready made ice = £0.99p
1x Hotel room with sink = £70

Using said sink as beer fridge and thus saving vast amounts of cash that would've been spent on booze.....

PRICELESS! ;-)

So anyway, somehow made our way over to the arena at about 7.30pm, Ixy in tow.

Unfortunately Ixy isn't good at low light stuff and also there was the biggest amount of camera killjoys commonly know as security!
As you can see from the next few pix Ixy stuggled so I don't really know what the camera killjoys were worried about cos really I ain't gonna be doing much with them pix, I could understand if people were sneaking in big fancy digital slr's but from what I could see it was mostly people with snapshot cameras just trying to capture the moment.

Was a bloody fantastic show, I don't think there was anyone left sat down in the entire building, I reckon she got thru about 9 different costumes but I can't remember, I'd lost count after 6!

After tyhe show John wanted to go get some t-shirts and a programme (which was £15!) so I waited outside and watched the nutters jumping over the jets of water in the fountain outside.
Not long after that I was joining in as the jets of water seemed to be timed for when someone one jump over them ;-) well it seemed like that, I didn't get wet but some other people with no sense of timing got soaked!

After that it was a 5min walk back to the hotel via the local corner shop cos we were bloody starving!




The aftershow party ;-) actualy most of them beers went before the show!





So all in all an excellent time was had by all, I'm now skintus maximus but it was all well worth it.
