Last time I posted I was playing football that evening......

Spent Thursday and Friday in complete agony, bloody legs just seized up from over use.
So anyway after telling John that I was playing football this close to our holiday he said 'Is that wise' and then I told him I was playing hockey this evening and he shut up ;-) After negiotating the football with nothing more than stiff muscles I'm now sporting a rather attractive bruise to my right thigh from hockey! ;-) I'll take a picture of it in the morning cos its that impressive!
Anyway....holiday......assuming the boat is fixed, it was still in Southampton dockyard on Saturday morning, it had been moved from the main cruise terminal due to the fact that the bloody massive Navigator Of The Sea was in port.
Thats the front of our boat......ship even! ;-) I must stop calling it a boat otherwise I'll end up getting chucked off it.....assuming its fixed that is.
Anyway, I've been a bit of knob regarding the new Star Wars book.
I thought I'll just check out the spoiler forum on the njoe site and look at the thread that says 'Major plot points'
Stupid!
I now know who dies and I'm not bloody happy about it!
Needless to say they're whacking one of the better characters :-(
Seeing as no one I know of a Star Wars inclination reads this blog (but just incase, I've tried to hide it so you have to highlight the sentance) the character that gets whacked isMara Jade Skywalker! Boooooooooooo!!!!!! But atleast its not Jaina Solo cos that would have been a major bugger and bollox cos she really needs to kick her brothers arse at some point during this series cos he needs a damn good kicking.
So anyway, I hope I haven't spoilt the book for anyone ;-) as far as I know theres only one person other than me that reads this blog anyway LOL

Still no news on the boat being fixed for our cruise but it seems that its moving under its own steam as we've seen it on the Southampton Dock WebCam
So anyway not much else going on but its only.....

It's been a few days since my last post, mainly cos we didn't get in til the small hours of Friday morning after going to see the Spurs draw 1-1 with Blackburn.
Have been in Southampton all weekend doing not alot, we went to spot our cruise ship that we're due out on on the 26th May. All was going well, it came in on Saturday morning, due out again Saturday evening for a 2 week cruise and then back again on the 26th to pick us up BUT.........this has happened !!! <-- Click on link. Apparently it should be fine for the 26th May!!! I bloody hope so cos I want my holiday!!!
Appart from that drama its been the final weekend of the Premiership Season and Spurs have managed to find themselves 5th again! :-) to mark the occassion of getting into Europe again for next season I've made a small YouTube film of this season. (will post here later as it's not uploaded yet!)
So anyway, Spurs and me (if the boat is fixed!!!) are going on a European Tour so that calls for a song....

Hopefuly it's gone to a good home cos it served us well for 6 years!

We have a new addition to the family.
My Mum and brother have been looking to get a car to replace the Nova which is tired......poor thing!
They are now proud owners of this......

It's only done 88,000 miles since new! apprently it was owned by some old people who serviced it and looked after it! :-)
So...meet Bertie ;-) thats what I've called him, no idea if this will catch on!
We're off to see Spurs play this evening, so that will be Bertie's big test, the only draw back is that he has a cassette player and no cd yet! we've got to transfer the stereo from the Nova cos that's MP3 but its a bit of an arse of a job which requires someone with knowledge ie: John! ;-)
I may be able to dig out some old Roxette tapes for the journey.......... that will be popular! NOT! ;-)
Went to London on Saturday for my mum's 60th birthday.
The plan was to go and see the worlds longest running play The Mousetrap (click HEREfor more info) as a surprise, we'd got tickets ages ago and she knew nothing about them until about an hour before we were due to go in.
Before that I had booked us tickets to see the new Star Wars exhibition at County Hall, Westminster (The building next to the London Eye) cos really it was my birthday! ;-)
Anyway, the exhibition was great and so was The Mousetrap, but I can't tell you what happens in it cos thats the whole reason its being going aslong as it has.
After an action packed weekend its nice to go back to work for a rest except we're going to pick up a new car for my mum and brother tomorrow, going to see Spurs play on Thursday and then next week I've said I will play football in Leicester of all places! its a long story not really worth going in to!
Oh and its only 2 and a half weeks til we go on our cruise, so busy times!
