New background in honour of the greatest sci-fi story in history and 6 of the greatest movies ever made! ;-) (Well 3 were fantastic, the other 3 had their moments!)
Long live George Lucas!
Anyway, moving on......
Off to see Aerosmith on Sunday in Hyde Park, this does mean of course that the weather will be utter shit! According to BBC website its supposed to be.....
Personaly I think it will just piss with rain as thats a traditional British summer time.
So anyway its longest day today and I've been having my own little party with beer and Gyllene Tider ;-P One day maybe I'll make it to Sweden for the longest day cos atleast they celebrate it with a holiday, all we have is a few weirdo's turning up at Stonehenge in funny outfits ;-)
I've got myself a Facebook account mainly cos ppls at hockey kept bugging me about it so I'm wondering how long it is before some of them find their way to my blog and find out about my secret Star Wars obsession (am I really that much of a geek? I don't think so!) and start taking the piss! Facebook, Myspace.....what the difference? who knows!? I'll just see how long this whole Facebook thing lasts although it has put me back in touch with someone I haven't spoken to in ages!
I thought of tons of stuff to write in my blog earlier but its all passed me by, I've even run out of beer so no chance of anything else being written here this evening.
"Have you ever wondered how many insects you would find if you lifted up Ayres Rock"
Ardal O'Hanlon
So anyway, I've finished the latest Star Wars book, Mara's dead, Jacen did it and no one (character) has figured it out yet!
FFS!
Jaina was in it for about 5 pages but plenty of Boba Fett so not quite so bad.
Anyway, I'm blogging from the garden :-)
With a borrowed laptop, wireless internet, music and beer! Oh the novelty of it! ;-)
It's amazing how when in Sweden Per/Gt/Marie music can sound so cool outdoors yet it doesn't quite have the same feeling when sat in your very English country garden ;-)
Here's a very SPECIAL! picture from our cruise.
John, Me and Francie being oh so sensible for the camera ;-)
On that note I will blog out and carry on listening to Aerosmith in the garden at "greatly reduced not so neigbour bothering volumes", it is nearly 10pm after all.
I've had to wait until page 178 for Jaina to show up!
And it was only about a page worth of story line, I am beggining to wonder if I'm the only who is annoyed by lack of their favourite characters involement in the latest series. There are several Jaina fans that hang around the forums who must be as mightly annoyed as I am.
Anyway, how exciing my life is lately NOT
Thursday evening was spent at a pub with my mate from hockey and as always the motto was 'Eatings cheating' so needless to say we then got completely smashed and spent most of Friday regretting the 5th and 6th pints of Kronebourg 1664 whilst having to try and function normally at work!
Saturday morning was spent in a VW dealer trying to get a good deal on a VW Polo for John, he is this close <---> to buying one, just gotta do some adding up before he says yes.
Saturday evening was spent at my youngest cousins 18th birthday party, as with my past 2 cousins 18th birthday parties we've had a little family get together and generaly had a laugh especialy when we started doing a quiz and I actualy managed to get a question right that no one else did! 1-0 to me! ;-)
And now its Sunday already, went out and brought a table and chairs for the back garden this afternoon. Now seeing as me and my bro didn't have the Golf as my mum has used it for work we went to homebase in my MR2. Homebase being about half a mile up the road my Bro decided that he could walk the table back as it came flat packed and that I would attempt to fit 3 plastic chairs into the car.
This is why I have a removeable roof!
So after spending most of the afternoon in the garden with the new table and chairs, some beer, wireless internet on a borrowed laptop and my latest Star Wars book I'm now pretty much in need of another holiday to recover!
So I'm off to look for campsites in Cornwall cos I fancy a little trip down there, do a bit of body boarding and just chilling out.
Going to cricket on Wednesday, taking my uncle to see Surrey play Hampshire down at the Rose Bowl which is Southampton, should be a laugh and then next weekend I'm house/dog sitting for my dad, the weather best be good cos I plan on having BBQ's.
