So here I am at my dads for two weeks, house/dog sitting.

I've already started on the box of beer thats been left and I've only been here 4 hours ;-)

On the plus side I have wireless internet on my laptop on the down side.....no Sky.
Although...... there is a 42" Plasma TV which is handy for wathching Star Wars on! ;-)

Floody Hell!

You might have seen the news about the floods.

This is what its like in Oxford.


















1. The view from Magdalen Bridge on Tuesday evening, the punts are trying to escape into the Botanical Gardens (big greenhouses on the right)

Now I'm alright cos I live in Headington which is up on a hill so if we ever flood then the rest of Oxford will be under about 50ft!
The city centre of Oxford isn't too bad, Christ Church College is getting a bit worried cos the water has started moving up the meadows but lets face it hell will freeze over before the big wigs at Oxford University let Oxford flood! ;-)

They'll be saying "sod the peasants! save the University" kind of thing.

Still filling my laptop with shite.

Still doing some training (of sorts) to get fit for hockey.

Got the new Sum 41 album 'Underclass Hero' haven't had a chance to listen properly but its pretty decent so far.

And thats it, finding it very hard to get motivated for anything lately! I've managed to add a couple of mate's blogs links as when I switched to this template I forgot that it didn't export everything!

Neglect!

I hope there isn't a Royal Society For The Protection Of Blogs cos I'd be charged with neglect ;-)

So anyway..... I'm turning it into a bit of a fitness diary cos if I have any ambitions of playing 1st team hockey this season I need to get myself fit!!

So far me and Will have been swimming quite alot, the aim for me is to do atleast 3x 40mins of some kind of fitness a week wether it be cycling, swimming or running.
I cycle to work so I will add that to my training diary cos it all counts!

Anyways today we've been swimming for 40 mins and we did 48 lenghts of a 25meter pool, we also cycled to and from work, the whole trip (there and back) being 6 miles!

Fuck I'm half way to a triathlon!

Moving on....

I need to add my links to this blog template as they got lost when I switched over, will be attempting this at some point although its not rocket science I just can't be arsed ;-)

"We need time to attune ourselves to the local currents," Zekk explained. "It's not like that new ship of hers is a dark side beacon. It was just giving off a little aura before."

"So you're saying we need to make a second pass?" Jag asked.

"And probably a third and a seventh," Jaina answered. "It might take some effort to find her, but I'd bet my shirt that Alema is here."

Jag said, "I accept!" at the same time Zekk said "Okay!"

Jaina frowned, confused by their enthusiasm. "What?"

"Your bet." Zekk leered across the fuselage. "I accepted."

"Hey, I was first!" As usual, it was impossible to tell from Jag's tone whether he was joking, but Jaina thought he probably was. The only gambling she had ever seen him do involved starfighters and slim chances of survival. "The bet is with me."

"Ha, ha -- very funny," Jaina said. "What part of not interested don't you two understand?"



It would appear that Jaina, Jag and Zekk are still Alema Rar chasing, bring it on!!!!
