Total cost was £10.68 delivered, now considering it would be £7.99 new from the shop (but not until October) I don't think thats too bad, its a good job the mighty $ is so weak against the £.
It would cost about that to get it delivered from Amazon (in October)
Did I mention that its not out here til October? ;-)

If that book arrives today I just know I'm not going to get anything done and I seem to have tons to do this evening.

So there it is, confirmation that my order of the newest Star Wars book has been shipped (names and tracking numbers concealed to protect the innocent) ;-)
According to the tracking page its on its way so I may get it this week sometime :-D well thats better than waiting for the UK release which is October by which time I won't be able to hold off any longer from the spoiler forums!

You may have noticed the blog hasn't moved yet, thats cos I have more pressing matters to attend to like work and hockey training and its going to take me more than 5mins of my time ;-)

Now if I can just figure out how to find some cash for My Chemical Romance tickets (if theres any still available) I'll be a happy bunny.

This will shortly be the end of my blog hosted on blogger as I'm moving it to my webspace.
Gave up on WordPress though as my hosting company is being an arse with the database creation so I'm just going to use the normal blogger route.

Anyway its been over a week since I posted mainly cos I've been cut off from electric and internet down in deepest darkest Cornwall.

On holiday finally!!!

This evening I've been gathering stuff together for the weekend/weeks extraveganza's
I've borrowed a body board and some binoculars (to see if I can spot the basking sharks), gotta get the small tent ready for tomorrow night, it's currently up in the back garden airing out cos it hasn't been used in ages.
Just need to pack a few clothes and I'm all ready to get going tomorrow evening.

First stop....

Katy & Lucy's 21st birthday party, the theme is Tropical so watch this space for the photo's ;-)
The plan is to stay in tents over night at their parents farm, how much sleep is going to happen I've no idea, not alot most likely!

2nd Stop....

Sunday I'll get my arse down to Southampton and help John pack up the car for our little 3 day trip to Cornwall.
We think we've got all the gear but we're bound to get down there and have forgotten something major like the tin opener or the matches or something like that! ;-)

3rd Stop....

Cornwall, a little camp site near St Just to be exact (down by Lands End for anyone who wants to go find it on a map).
The plan is to do a bit of body boarding, a bit of sightseeing, dodge the rain showers, eat some pasties and drink some scrumpy!


There maybe pictures before I go to Cornwall but I doubt I will be posting much until I'm back up this neck of the woods sometime on bank holiday Monday.


So anyway, theres spoilers for the new book over at the NJOE forum, I have to admit I've had a quick look but nothing got overly spoiled so I think getting away from it in deepest darkest Cornwall will probably be for the best........they don't have 'lectric down there ....no sir.....they burn people who use 'lectric down there ;-)

Still no joy with WordPress so for now my blog stays where it is and my webspace stays as it is......crap!

My Chemical Romance - Disenchanted

So I've spent the last couple of nights struggling to get WordPress to work so that I can use my next to redundant webspace that I pay good money to have each year.

The idea is to be able to move my blog there and have something more inspiring than the blogger backgrounds.
Now I consider myself to know a little about computer language but I don't claim to know everything and the stuff I know is basic but hey it impreses some ppls so I carry on in my own littlw world......
Anyway back to the point....... all this MySQL bollox is doing my head in, I've created a database with my hosting provider (atleast I think I have, it said created!) I've followed the 5min install and gave up with that and went to the full instructions and it still doesn't want to work! so basically fuck it!

I can't be arsed now!

It's 10pm I've been out to fitness training this evening and now I won't be able to move tomorrow or the next day and possibly Friday aswell.
I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm not actualy cut out for all this stamina training, hill running and various other stuff that we did this evening but I know that if I didn't go tonight I would've sat on my arse and watched all of the crap game that was Spurs on SkySports losing at home to Everton.

And bugger me if we're not pitch training tomorrow evening....as if I will be able to move!

I haven't had a beer since Saturday evening! what is the world coming too!? all this drinking water is killing me! I think I will have to go to the pub on Thursday evening and I've spotted atleast 3 bottles of Bulmers downstairs in the fridge.

Still.....3 days and then no work for a week and a bit, I'm looking forward to my camping holiday in Cornwall, I intend to enjoy it even if it pisses with rain for the 3 days we are down there cos quite frankly I don't care.

Before that, this weekend see's me and a few others going to some friends 21st Birthday party. The theme is Tropical, I can't say exactly what we're all going dressed as just yet as I dunno who is reading this blog as I think there is a link to it from my facebook account. (yes I have a facebook account!)

There will be many pictures taken and it will be funny! Camping over night at our friends place, there was an offer of sleeping in the marquee but we mostly decided that 21yr olds + lots of booze = all sorts of chaos so we're camping in a field next door or atleast thats the plan anyway.

And there you have it, that must be the longest blog in ages!

One day it might be moved but probably not in the near future as I will probably get bored of trying to make WordPress work and smash the PC in or something.

It's 13 days til the new Star Wars book......

Yet again the UK release date for this book is sometime in October but the US release date is in 13 days time, I'll be buggered if I am waiting til October when book 7 is out in November so I've ordered it from the States cos I can.

Roll on the cover for Invincible (book 9) I wanna see Jaina and she best be on it or there will be trouble!

So here we have the 8th book cover in the new Star Wars series with Jacen gone all Sith (thats bad) on the front.






















This means that on the 9th and final book of the series 'Invincible' we'll get Jaina on the cover! YAY! :-D

Anyway, here I am sat at my Dad's house out in the garden with the laptop drinking beer as summer has arrived.
Looking forward to my break in Cornwall even more so now that there have been sharks spotted, I wanna see them too! (maybe not when I'm body boarding though!)

Car has just cost me £167, failed the MOT cos of the handbrake being dodgy so had to get a new cable which was £45 and then labour on top of that was another £55 plus the MOT.
I just taxed it too! £99 for 6 months!

Skint! and I only got paid on Monday :-(
