Been out today to have a look at the Boxing day sales, not many bargains to be had but I did find a 320gb portable hard drive for £45 in Staples.
Gonna be needing one now I have a video camera......just imagine all the movies I can make now ;-)

Gotta go into Southampton again tomorrow to spend the rest of my Christmas cash on last min warm stuff as it seems to have snowed in Reykjavik ;-)

Up at 6.30am in Tesco by 7am, done shopping and home via car wash by 8.30am

Put a tenner on Arsenal to win the North London Derby cos I figured if Arsenal win I get a bit back plus my stake and if Spurs win I will be so happy that who cares about a tenner!
As it turns out Arsenal won :-( but I won £4.44 plus a few other bets I made on a few gee gee's so i manged to end up being a fiver up! (was more like £8 up but I left £3 in my Victor Chandler account just for the odd flutter on silly named horse's)

Just got back from seeing The Golden Compass, quite a good film, lots of scenic Oxford shots all over the place and Daniel Craig :-).... Just wish I'd had my shotgun to kill a few kids who thought it was a play ground, obviously their parents had given them some money and told them to fuck off for the afternoon.

Ropey!

I feel distinctly ropey this morning, too much food and alcohol yesterday although I don't think I had that much alcohol in the end.

And here I am up at 7.30am cos I said I'd take my bro to work cos its his last day ;-)

3 Working Days

What more can I say?

Well quite alot actualy.....

I am for once just about ready for Christmas, got a few last min presents to get and packing to do for Iceland but thats about it.

Although there is a reason why I always left most of my present shopping til the last min....

I went and got tickets for The Sound Of Music in London for my mum for March next year only to then find out that of all the dates I picked it is the week she is doing her Darma Group thing and that we wouldn't be able to go!
Said tickets have now been sold on ebay for face value and I shall be getting some more in the near future! She doesn't know this yet but I will just stick a picture of Austria (or was is set in Switzerland?) in a box and wrap it up and let her figure it out! ;-)

Another present cock up ( so much for doing everything early!) is this...... my Dad and Step Mum haven't seen any of the Pirates Of The Caribbean so I've gone out to get the the trilogy boxset only to find last weekend when I was dog sitting that they have #2 on dvd!
I've wrapped the boxset anyway, they can alwasy ask me to show them how to sell it on eBay after Christmas!

So sometimes it does not pay to be organised!, I have however sent all of my Christmas cards now, wether some of them will reach their destinations this side of 2008 is unclear ;-)

Now.....if I could just get over the fact that there is fuck all on the music channels this evening I'd be chipper!

We (or should I say I) have started on the last box of Carlsberg Export this evening, we only have 3 crates of Becks left after this box is gone! I dunno how thats gonna last til Christmas Day!

If anyone knows where I can get a Parker Propelling Pencil then let me know, my Grand-ma wanst one for Christmas and I've looked everywhere.....WH Smiths, Rymans, Staples..... even John Lewis who didn't have any fancy pens or pencils for less than £30 ;-)

Just for the record...... I'm warming to James Blunt, I've seen him recently on a couple of shows and he comes across as a very funny bloke now if only he didn't have a really anoying voice (singing & talking) he'd probably be quite good thats if his songs weren't so fucking miserable!

I had this wacky idea of seeing if I could keep track of the units of alcohol I will consume in the next week or so, so far this evening its...... 4 bottles @ 1.4 units each, I can keep track of bottles of beer but its wine that gets confusing cos it says per 125ml serving.....well what teh fuck is that? a small glass? a medium glass? mostly I just drink the entire bottle!

So anways.... so far this week starting from today I've had (gets calculator out) 5.6 units of alcohol.
Now all I have to do is go to drinkaware.co.uk for it to tell me I've probably had waaaaaaaaay too much this week already!

My brother has just got deal of the centuary at Tesco!

He wanted to get our mum a new mobile for Christmas so we've been out there this evening to check out whats about and settled for a Nokia 3110.
It's easy to use and has MP3 ringtones and colour screen to drag her into the modern mobile age ;-) she currently has a Nokia 3210! it works still but the battery is dodgy and doesn't hold its charge.

So anyway..... the deal (which had to be explained by the customer service lady who we both know cos we used to work there) is this......

Spend £25 instore and get £25 off of a handset on Tesco Mobile when you spend £50 or more on said handset.

Basically get £25 worth of shopping for free! Needless to say we then went and spent £25 on 3 boxes of Becks Bier and a few other bits to make it to the £25.
We also had a £10 off voucher if we spent over £50 on a handset which was part of my mums little book of money of vouchers that Tesco give her for Christmas.

So anyway....I think Tesco should re-do the advert, it should go something like this.....

Spend over £50 on a Tesco Mobile handset and get free beer! ;-)


Anyway.... by the time we'd left we had 3 boxes of beer, some Radox bubble bath, some Bonjela (for my bloody sore wisdom tooth) and a Nokia 3110 for £50.54 ;-)

So....moving on.....

Got my PAC code from Orange today so have just rung T-Mobile and my number should be transfering on 17th December, if this goes without a hitch i shall be most surprised ;-)
Had some Scotish bloke on the phone from T-Mobile, couldn't understand a word he was saying LOL but he was very helpful when I could finanly understand him!

Now I was going to post a decent pic of the new phone but now can't as my laptop seems to have destroyed yet another SD card that I use in my camera, this is the 2nd card that I'm on cos the other one stopped working after being plugged into the little slot specificaly for SD cards on this laptop.
I'm 95% sure its the slot on the laptop although there is one other thing that could've destroyed the SD card and that is my card reader thats plugged into my main PC.

Moving on from that little rant...

Will be importing my number from Orange to T-Mobile as soon as I get my PAC code from Orange, they couldn't offer me the phone free on anything under £35 a month contract but T-Mobile could so I've switched to get the phone I want for free paying the same amount I have for the last 18months.

When I can be arsed to take decent photos I will post them here, I will also sort out my photos from London last weeek and get them to a place that everyone can see them.

But for now, I'm too busy enjoying the fact that Jaina is all bad arse on a cover of her own!!!!

Bugger! I will now have to change the background of my blog to update the little book timeline theme I have going on, or.......just have the Invincible cover as a background cos as I've said many times in this post.....its fucking ROCKS!!!!!!

A Burning Brand To Your Enemies

Went to London yesterday with a few friends.

We mainly just aimlessly walked around a visitied a few drinking establishments and had dinner in China Town and then eventualy made our way back to Marble Arch to catch the bus home.
I think it was about 1.30am by the time I rolled in ;-)

Anyway, I've started my Christmas shopping, online.
Why battle thru the shops when its so easy online, it was bad enough just doing the normal weekly shop in Tesco this afternoon.

eBay is my friend! ;-)

Now if I could just figure out what to get my mum I'd be sorted.

On another note, trying to get the new Sony Ericsson W910i on contract and Orange seem to be reluctant to want to give it to me so at the end of the month I shall most likely be leaving them unless they give me the phone I want cos I can get it for free from T-mobile on a better contract.
