My brother has finally made it to South Africa after delayed journey.
He was supposed to fly out on Wednesday night but I got a call to say his flight had been delayed and that Virgin were putting him up in a hotel over night.
That was nice of them but it meant he missed his connecting flight in Johannesburg that took him to Durban where he is staying with friends.

Thank god for wireless internet! he got on msn and we managed to find him another connectiong flight but that meant an overnight stay at Jo'burg airport so after looking around a bit he found a hotel too.

Gotta work out how to claim on the travel insurance when he gets back.

Got a text this morning to say that he had checked in for his flight to Durban so he's back on track all be it a day late! and he left his new hat on the plane! I told him to claim for that too ;-)

I worry about my little brother (he's 30 this year!) ;-)

Anyhow, I have Def Leppard tickets for next week album launch party, paid £50 for the 2 in the end which was a very good price as they were £20 each originaly plus booking fee's.

Mother has no idea........BRILLIANT! >;-)
