'Suppose A Rocks Outta The Question?
**Warning, theres possibly alot of swearing to come!**
Just made it back from The Def leppard gig in London.
Made the mistake of driving up there, although the journey itself wasn't too bad the usual troll around lloking for the phantom car park meant that we didn't actualy get to the venue until just on 7pm (this is having left Oxford at 3.30 and at MacDonalds by Ikea at Wembley at 4.20!)
After several detours (Thanks SatNav you bastard!) we found a car park by St Pancreas train station and I nearly crashed the car into the barrier as I looked at the prices for parking but seeing as there was nowhere else to go we didn't have alot of choice.
We could've gone by coach but I wouldn't be writting this now as we'd still be on it probably trying to get out of London which seems to take an age for some reason.
So anyway, venue was small but then I expected it, what I didn't expect was the amount of cocks there would be about and there was a fair few of them.
Now I'm not blessed with height and I don't expect to see much if anything unless I've q'd for hours (been there, done that...theres only one band I'd still do it for and they will probably not make a record again let alone tour!)
What really fucking narks me is how inconsiderate other peoples are and its not just tall blokes its women aswell who either don't see you or think cos you're small you're going to move out of their way regardless.
I spent the entire gig being shoved in the back and then nearly headbutted by some fucking knob infront of me who was doing air guitar in a square centimeter of space. ( if he wasn't doing that he was taking a photograph of every fucking movement the band made, I'm all for concert photos but not for the whole gig GIVE IT A REST DICK HEAD! YOU'RE FUCKING ANNOYING!)
Concerts are just full of wankers these days!
Needless to say Leppard were fantastic as always Sav even managed to mess up 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' which was amusing to say the least, Mother enjoyed herself even though shes shorter than I am and saw some blokes shoulder blades all evening
Anyway I was pleasantly surpised when we got back to the car park to find it only costing £10, so no need to take out a bank loan to cover it ( crikey thats cheaper than parking in Oxford!) ;-)
Roll on June 26th Wembley concert, we're sat up out of the way of the fucking annoying dickheads on the floor, I just can't hack that anymore, its a personal space issue with me and fucking dickheads keep invading it!
And just to top off any rant that I appear to be having, anyone taking pix with a mobile phone or using flash on their cameras are all wankers! ( this includes me but theres a point to all this)

Now I'm not David Bailey, but thats just shite!
So I'm a wanker for taking it but if you look very closely theres an idiot using their camera with flash!

Well first off I presume we are both thinking of the same band that won’t tour again or make another release but if they do, we’ll make the front row together! Jackie also tells me she will visit every other venue they do as well!
By the way I see Paul started a topic on TDR that might be of interest to you, nice to see that Sunday evening held fond memories for all of us at the last Rox meet we had!
Glad the Def Leppard went well, shame about the other knobs and the guy doing the remote stupid air guitar impression, I’d wanted to head butt him or kick him somewhere else painful!
As for the photo, it’s not too bad. I only ever now attempt to take photos at concerts if I am near the front!
